This post is about more famous harmonica players and one of the greatest and most talented who didn’t let life steal his dream of playing the harmonica and other instruments when he lost his sight at birth was (Stevie Wonder) born Steveland Hardaway Judkins on May 13 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan blind because of receiving too much oxygen in the incubator as a premature baby.

Stevie Wonder showed an early gift for music, first with a church choir in Detroit, Michigan where he and his family had moved to when he was only 4 years old. Singer, Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist. Stevie Wonder made his recording debut at age 12. He taught himself how to play The Harmonica, Piano and Drums all of which he did before the age of 10 years old.

He got signed to a record deal at age 11 with the Motown band the Miracles. Stevie Wonder is still performing currently. Can anyone tell me what it takes to accomplish what Stevie Wonder did with no sight?

  1. Hi there, I really liked this site as I’m a fan of Stevie Wonder, I really enjoyed reading all about him. It would be better that you also allow some fans like me to be able to download some good songs from our favorite singers…Just a wish 🙂
